1999 was a fantastic year!

Mobile internet slowly began to show its face and the great company RIM from Canada came out with one of the first BlackBerry telephones. They were connected to the company’s mail server and had a brilliant small keyboard which made it really easy to type while you were driving because that was totally legal at that time.

The brilliant Blackberry 850 looked like this in 1999:

Just imagine writing your emails on this phone in the late ’90s just before the millennium bug!

The Blackberry 850 had extremely poor email signature capabilities. In fact none.
